Position Overview

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind our data strategy, analytics infrastructure, and predictive modeling initiatives. Taking complete ownership of our data stack, you'll architect solutions that transform raw logistics data into actionable business intelligence and build predictive models that drive business outcomes. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to support data-driven decision making across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Own and architect our entire data analytics infrastructure, from ingestion to visualization, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Design and optimize mission-critical data pipelines using FiveTran to transform complex logistics data into actionable insights
  • Build and maintain comprehensive analytics dashboards in ThoughtSpot that drive key business decisions
  • Architect and maintain sophisticated data models in Redshift, optimizing for both performance and accessibility
  • Develop and deploy predictive models for business-critical use cases like credit scoring and payment likelihood prediction
  • Establish data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data security, quality, and compliance
  • Partner with leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of our data platform, from monitoring and maintenance to incident response

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering and analytics, with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Expert-level SQL skills and proven experience with complex data modeling in Redshift
  • Strong track record implementing and maintaining ETL pipelines using FiveTran or similar tools
  • Extensive experience with ThoughtSpot or equivalent BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Proven ability to architect and maintain production-grade data infrastructure
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity in SQL development, data modeling, and analytics workflows
  • Strong communication skills and experience translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
