Position Summary
Upwell is seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic Vice President of Revenue to lead our sales, marketing, and partnerships efforts. This key leadership role will drive revenue growth, build scalable processes, and foster strategic relationships with clients and partners. The VP of Revenue will oversee all aspects of revenue generation, including business development, branding, marketing strategy, and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Set and track key sales performance metrics (e.g., pipeline growth, close rates, and revenue targets).
- Partner with internal teams to refine Upwell’s go-to-market strategy and value propositions.
Marketing Strategy
- Craft a cohesive marketing strategy to enhance Upwell’s brand presence, generate leads, and nurture client relationships.
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, and events.
- Utilize market insights and competitive analysis to refine messaging and positioning.
Partnership Development
- Identify, negotiate, and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand Upwell’s reach and impact.
- Act as a key representative of Upwell at industry events, conferences, and in customer engagements.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to deliver compelling value to partners and clients.
Revenue Optimization
- Drive alignment across sales, marketing, and partnerships to maximize revenue growth.
- Implement data-driven strategies to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
- Build scalable processes to ensure efficient and effective execution of revenue-related activities.
